Versa 4 display is on all the time

The face of my versa 4 remains on all the time, emitting a very bright light during the night. Can this be changed as it needs me to charge the phone every other day. It was purchased and set up on 12 August 2024

Hi @Fitx5_ and welcome to the community forums. Yes, that light, in the beginning, can seem quite bright at night. Some people have used wrist bands similar to the sports ones (terry cloth and soft) to cover the face of the Fitbit.

I didn't end up having to do anything! It ran out of battery, I fully charged it and the continual light had gone and I still have 75% battery after running since 22.8.2024. Problem solved! Thank you.

Hi there, @Fitx5_. Welcome to the Fitbit Community Forums. Thanks for bringing this to my attention. I'm sorry to hear that the battery of your Versa 4 is draining due to the screen being on all the time. I understand your concern, I will do my best to help you with this!

It sounds like you have the always-on display feature enabled, which may be causing the battery to drain so quickly. To exit the always-on display and interact with your watch, turn your wrist toward you, press the button, or double-tap the display. For more information, see How do I see the time on my Fitbit device?

In addition to that, please make sure to follow the tips and recommendations provided in the help article shared by @Odyssey13.
