Versa 4 display too dim

I've had my versa 4 for about 2 years and haven't had any issues up until recently. The screen is extremely dim and the display looks like weird. I haven't done anything to it to make it show up like that , I have followed all of the guides possible including unpairing the device and removing it from the app but now I can't even re-add it. When I go to set it up, it will say that it's not recognized. Is there a way to fix this or is my device gone?

Hi there, @Spicychick3n. Welcome to the Fitbit Community Forums. Thanks for bringing this to my attention and for the troubleshooting steps you've tried. I'm sorry to hear that the screen of your Versa 4 is still blank and that it won't connect now. I understand your concern, I will do my best to help you with this!

Since you've unpaired your Versa 4, I'd like to make sure you've done the following in the order listed so you can properly add it back:

  • Unpair your Fitbit device from your phone's Bluetooth and Fitbit app.
  • Unpair other Bluetooth devices that you may also have paired to your phone's Bluetooth settings.
  • Force quit the Fitbit app.
  • Turn off other Bluetooth connections when not in use. This can help to prevent connectivity issues or Bluetooth interference.
  • Shut off your phone and turn it on after 1-2 minutes.
  • Turn on the Bluetooth on your phone.
  • Plug it into the charging cable and open the Fitbit app.
  • Set up your Fitbit device.
  • If there is no connection, restart your Fitbit device.
  • Update your Versa 4.
  • Once your Fitbit device is paired and syncing, please proceed to set up your other Bluetooth devices to your phone again.

If the screen of your Versa 4 is still too dim after pairing it back, make sure that the brightness settings are not set to "Dim". If this doesn't describe your issue, please try the following:

  1. From the Today tab in the Fitbit app, tap the devices icon at the top-left corner.
  2. Tap your Fitbit device image.
  3. Near the bottom of the page, tap Sync Now.

If the above doesn't work, please restart your Fitbit device once againIf the restart doesn't work try to change your clock face. If this fixes the issue, you can change your clock face back to the original clock face.
