Versa 4 firmware won't update

As I regularly play football I have to take my watch off. I did this for my game yesterday and when I put it back on it just didn't even turn on. I was holding till the buzz then nothing. Then when I got home I held the button for 10 seconds to reset the watch. I then had to unadd the watch from my phone then readd it back. Still doesn't work as I need to do a tracker software update and when I try to do this it connects to my phone for half a second then won't connect at all.

Sad to hear that you're having issues with your Versa 4.
As there is a chance that your device is discharged, I'd suggest trying to give it a full charge.
If it won't charge, please a closer look here for possible reasons:

Hi there, @Ryancqpr. Welcome to the Fitbit Community Forums. It's sad to hear that your Versa 4 stopped working after taking it off for your football game. Thanks for taking the time to troubleshoot the issue prior to posting here. I understand where your concern is coming from. 

I've seen you contacted our Support Team after posting here and they're still helping you with this matter. As you were notified, please note that your case was forwarded to our higher tier of support for further checking. Someone will be in contact with you soon as they have the resolution for your Versa 4.
