I charged my versa 4 and now I can’t toggle the screen to see my steps or get settings to turn it off for a reset.

Firstly, I suggest you to verify if you are running the latest version of the Fitbit app. In order to update your Fitbit app, please read and follow the steps shown here: How do I update the Fitbit app?

The reset worked, thank you.
I was unaware to hold the button until the Fitbit logo came up. I always reset it by swiping and going to settings.
