My versa 4 which I got for christmas 2 months ago is not tracking my sleep. It worked for 1 day where it said I slept 40 minutes! I have sleep apnea and now a cpap machine so I want to know how my sleep is now. I've tried tightening it, loosening it, wearing it upside down, updating the software, uninstalling and reinstalling the app and nothing is working. Any other suggestions?

Hi there, @Kroberts65. Welcome to the Fitbit Community Forums. Thanks for bringing this to my attention and for the troubleshooting steps you've tried. I'm sorry to hear that your Versa 4 is not tracking your sleep data. I understand your concern, we're here to help you!
In addition to the great tips and suggestions by @bwantsbasics and @Guy_, I recommend considering the following in order to get sleep stages:
- If you slept in a position that prevented your device from getting a consistent heart-rate reading or wore it too loosely. For best results, wear your device higher on your wrist (about 2-3 finger widths above your wrist bone). The band should feel secure but not too tight.
- If you used the Begin Sleep Now option in the Fitbit app (instead of simply wearing your device to bed). For more information on automatic sleep tracking, see How do I track my sleep with my Fitbit device?
- If you slept for less than 3 hours.
- If your device’s battery is critically low.

Hi @Kroberts65 - just in case, the watch requires good HR measurement to record sleep, check the graph to see how it is doing. This can be an issue if you have tattoos, and if that is the case try in a place you don't have them [other wrist] at night.

I have found that having WiFi turned on on my phone will interfere with syncing of some of the data, sleep is one of those. You may need to wait for a min or two before sync will be successful.
