Hi @Yorkielover - this is a common annoying flaw (lol) on some watches and they can be replaced if under warranty.
However as it doesn't affect any other measurements it can largely be ignored, which avoids not having a watch during the replacement process or expense of buying a new watch to have an information of questionable value.
The watch normally measures elevation changes so walking uphill can count as floors also.
