Versa 4 is tracking too many floors

  • I have had my Versa 4 since February and two days ago the stair count been has been very very high.  Right now I show 272 flights.   I cleaned  the altimeter as directed, restarted, and did a factory reset.  Nothing is working.  I can't sign in to contact customer support.  This is really ridiculous that you can't get help.

Hi @Yorkielover - this is a common annoying flaw (lol) on some watches and they can be replaced if under warranty.

However as it doesn't affect any other measurements it  can largely be ignored, which avoids not having a watch during the replacement process or expense of buying a new watch to have an information of questionable value.

The watch normally measures elevation changes so walking uphill can count as floors also.
