Versa 4 keeps going into sleep mode

Is there a setting I'm missing?

I charge my watch while I'm in the shower, put it back on and take it off of sleep mode. So, swipe down, hit sleep mode, hit the check mark. It is now off sleep mode.

Then at some point during the day I realize I haven't gotten any notifications in a while. Look, and it's on sleep mode. Ok, maybe I forgot. Take it off again. Wait for it to go to the home screen just to be sure (I use always on display). Yep. Definitely off.

A couple hours later same thing and it's because it's ON SLEEP MODE AGAIN.

My Versa 2 that just died had that haptic button and this NEVER happened. The 4 requires actual taps so there's NO way it's getting bumped.

I'm half tempted to return it for something else because it's not doing what I need it for always going into sleep mode.

Hi @chastan !  Welcome to our community forums!

I'm sorry to hear that Sleep mode turns on by itself on your Versa 4. I appreciate all the information provided. 

In this case I suggest you to try a restart by pressing the button until the Fitbit logo appears y try to turn off the Sleep mode again.
