Versa 4 keeps notifying me about my step count

I just switched from Versa 3 to Versa 4, and my new watch keeps notifying me repeatedly when I've reached my step goal. It's buzzing every ten minutes or so (if I'm moving) and it drives me crazy. On Versa 3 I got one notification when the goal was reached and that's it. Is there a setting on Versa 4 I don't know about that can make it buzz just once?

Hi @refer - try restarting the watch with the button. It is not normal to do that multiple notifications (which could be for another reason?) also try changing clock face.

Hi there, @refer. Welcome to the Fitbit Community Forums. Thanks for the details provided in your post about the inconvenience with the reminders to move on your Versa 4. I understand how you must be feeling, we're here to help you! @Guy_ Thank you so much for your help!

Have you tried turning reminders to move off? On most devices, you can turn off notifications to temporarily stop receiving reminders to move. For instructions, see How do I get notifications from my phone on my Fitbit device?

To permanently turn reminders to move off:

  1. On the Today tab, tap Devices.
  2. Tap Reminders to Move > turn Reminders to Move on or off.

Whenever you make and changes in the app be sure to sync your Fitbit device.
