Versa 4 keeps turning off

My versa 4 won't stay on. I have it full charged, it comes on and within a few minutes it will restart and then black screen. I have restarted it, done a factory reset, kept it on the charger and nothing. I will mess with it and finally get it to come on and then it does the some thing, black screen. I have updated the app. Made sure my phone is updated disconnected and connected the Bluetooth but nothing fixes it. This is the 2nd Fitbit that I have had the exact same issue with. Very disappointing.

Hi there, @Elallan. Welcome to the Fitbit Community Forums. Thanks for bringing this to my attention and for the troubleshooting steps you've tried. I'm sorry to hear that your Versa 4 keeps turning off. I understand your concern, I will do my best to help you with this!

In addition to the steps you've done so far, I'd recommend trying the steps below:

  1. From the Today tab in the Fitbit app, tap the devices icon at the top-left corner.
  2. Tap your Fitbit device image. 
  3. Near the bottom of the page, tap Sync Now.

If the above doesn't work, please restart your Fitbit device once again as suggested here How do I restart my Fitbit device? Note: Restarting the device doesn’t delete any data. If the restart doesn't work try to change your clock face. If this fixes the issue, you can change your clock face back to the original clock face.

I also have this issue.   I have restarted numerous times, including to factory restart.   Removed and readded device and almost daily my fitbit crashes.   Battery is always fully charged.   Not sure what else to do ????

I am having the same issue and it’s been ongoing for a few months. I’ve tried all the fixes you listed. There is also an update available which I hoped would fix it but it won’t update. I’ve tried 5 times to update. I’ve resisted my phone and reset my Versa 4 before attempting the update. The phone and Fitbit go through the motions as if the update is happening, but after about 10 minutes it all disappears and the app suggests the update once again. HELP!

This issue is ongoing even with the default clock face. I have tried every troubleshooting option available and nothing fixes it! 😞
