My Fitbit Versa 4 will shut down randomly and not power back on unless connected to the charger. Once connected to the charger, it will power on and the battery status will indicate it's got plenty of charge (often 90% or better). This started about a month ago and is getting more and more frequent. I have started having to carry my charger around with me. I have tried factory resets several times and there is no difference. Because of this problem, my steps and sleep trackings have not been accurate. I love my Fitbit but I have found that I'm spending most of my time now cussing it. Help!

Hi there, @Candrad. Welcome to the Fitbit Community Forums. Thanks for bringing this to my attention and for the troubleshooting steps you've tried. I'm sorry to hear that your Versa 4 keeps turning off. I understand your concern, I will do my best to help you with this!
If you haven't done so yet, please try the steps below:
If the above doesn't work, please restart your Fitbit device once again as suggested here How do I restart my Fitbit device? Note: Restarting the device doesn’t delete any data. If the restart doesn't work try to change your clock face. If this fixes the issue, you can change your clock face back to the original clock face.
If the above doesn't work, may I know if this is happening at any time during the day or if it happens while exercising or sleeping? Please note you might unintentionally press the button on your watch when you bend your wrist. Try wearing your watch higher on your wrist to avoid hitting the button. For tips on how to wear your watch, see How do I wear my Fitbit device?

Thank you for your assistance. Unfortunately none of the suggested steps worked. I restarted again, tried changing the clock face and I had already tried repositioning the watch on my arm. Honestly, if the placement of the watch on my arm was causing accidental shut down, it should then work to just turn it back on. Once it shuts down, the only way to get it to power back on is to connect to the charger.
In the last few days this problem has gotten worse. The Fitbit will only stay powered up for 5-10 minutes on average now. I am more and more choosing to just not put it on at all. It seems I will now be forced to replace my watch and have to decide which brand to choose. 😕

@Candrad Since all the steps you tried didn't work, you have a Versa 4 and report it's turning itself off, I need additional information from you that would best be shared privately. I’m sharing a link to a form for you to fill out so we can look into this further.
This form is only meant for you to use, so let me know once you’re done. Click here to get access to it.
