Versa 4 not counting steps when pushing pram

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I had a Versa 3 for 3 years and it counted all my steps, even when pushing a pram.

it unfortunately broke recently so I upgraded to a Versa 4 but it isn’t logging my steps when I am pushing the pram, which I do on a daily basis.

I’ve read a few posts saying that it only counts if your arm is by your side but that doesn’t seem right to me as my old Fitbit always counted them.

It’s really frustrating upgrading to the newest model and it not being as good as the old one.

Does anybody have a Fitbit that counts steps when pushing prams?

Or a solution to this that isn’t taking it off my wrist (feels annoying having a brand new, expensive tracker and having to put it in a pocket to count steps, which a lot of clothes I wear don’t have anyway!)

Hi @Lilo1829 - it is surprising that it worked with the Versa 3, shopping pushing a trolley and a Sense barely counts any steps.

The Steps are usually measured by arm movements, but it is interesting to know there is a difference between watches.

Try mowing the lawn, the constant vibrations may count lots of steps!

As you will have noticed perhaps there are other features not available on the Versa 4 that may be you used to use.

Consider going back to a Versa 3, still available in some shops. If you are in the window Fitbit have a 45 day refund policy if bought direct from them or from an authorised shop perhaps, and some stores offer a 14 to 30 day one.
