Versa 4 not refreshing steps and historic data not appearing

My Versa 4 doesn’t immediately refresh any data when requested by dragging the app window downwards. 
Also when steps, miles etc are tapped to see accumulated historic data it doesn’t appear even though on the home screen I can scroll back day by day.
