Versa 4 not tracking distances and stops activity

So I went from the versa 3 to the versa 4. On my versa 3. Never had problems with tracking mileage or it's stopping in the middle of a walk for a rest. Now with the versa. 4. It doesn't track my miles and when I'm in the middle of a walk if I stop it stops the activity and I have to start all over again

I have the same issue, and not able to find one solution to this issue. Guess this forum has no responses either

Just started trying to use a Versa 4 on a long walk. It stopped tracking after less than a mile. Restarted only to have it repeat the problem. Not impressed so far.

WOW, and I just ordered one because my faithful SURGE stopped tracking my route.

Having the same issue with my recently purchased Versa 4,

Quite disappointed with it so far, was more impressed with the Versa 3

I have exactly the same issue. Hasn't tracked since the start. Wishing I hadn't upgraded now.

I have the same problem. I go walking with my sister. She has a garmin and Im always at least a half km behind her even tho we are side by side and on a tracked path.

Having the same issue after the last update.  
if I try to restart, it will vibrate and do nothing and the excercise is never logged in the app.

If I restart the Fitbit, it will start again, bit then stops again.  It happened to me 3 times yesterday and once today.

My Versa 4 just shows the “download the app” screen even though I’ve downloaded the app, what am I doing wrong?
