I bought a new Versa 4 in June. The new band style is awful. I have nerve damage in my hands and literally couldn't fasten the band by myself. I ended up buying a better band and it worked great. After only four months, my Fitbit battery suddenly wouldn't hold a charge and after dealing with technical support, it was determined that I needed a replacement. I sent back the FitBit, the box, the unused band, and the paperwork. I was sent a refurbished Versa 4. Mind you, I was sent only the face. I was expecting a new replacement, in the box. I got a used/repaired/refurbished FitBit face. I was frustrated but charged the Fitbit and when I went to put the band on, I discovered it didn't fit the replacement. The band fit the one I sent back, a Versa 4, but the refurbished Versa 4 has an entirely different attachment system. I called and expressed my frustration and explained that I would just like to return it for a refund. I was told they would send me a new band. I said No. Fitbit says the return needs to go through Google Store. Google says I need to go through FitBit. Nobody seems willing to assist me. I've had a Fitbit for nearly 10 years and the quality and customer service has declined steadily. Anyone have any recommendations?

Google's Customer Service is horrible! My brand new Versa 4 is defective and they will not replace or refund my money. They claim it's passed the 15 day time period. Not sure what happened to the actual warranty period. I have troubleshooted, they have, talked to numerous people there. They fail to respond timely so they can run out the time. Google is a multibillion dollar company and they are defrauding their customers every chance they get. If you decide to purchase one, do not buy from Google --- Costco, Sam's Club, Amazon, anywhere you can return it. I am beyond disgusted by their business practices and am sorry they treated you the same way.

I'm sorry for you as well. I've had a Fitbit for ages, and the customer service used to be terrific, but it has tanked. It's awful. I won't be buying another one.
