The navigation on Versa 4 is very poor - very difficult to escape some screens (e.g. in exercise) back to the primary screen - sooooo frustrating!

Hi there, @GourdonA. Welcome to the Fitbit Community Forums. Thanks for bringing this to my attention, I'm sorry to hear that the screen navigation of your Versa 4 is not working properly. I understand how frustrating this can be, I will do my best to help you with this!
Please try to do the following troubleshooting steps:
1. Sync your Versa 4 with the Fitbit app:
- From the Today tab in the Fitbit app, tap the devices icon at the top-left corner.
- Tap the device they want to sync.
- Near the bottom of the page, tap Sync Now.
2. Restart your Versa 4. For more information, see How do I restart my Fitbit device?
3. Change the clock face:
- With your device nearby, in the Fitbit app, tap the Today tab and then devices icon and then your device.
- Tap Gallery and then the Clocks tab.
- Browse the available clock faces. Tap the clock face you want and then Install.
4. Sync your Versa 4 with the Fitbit app again.
In addition, I'd recommend taking a look at this help article How do I navigate my Fitbit device?
