Versa 4 screen stuck on a large red cross

My versa 3 stopped working so I was offered a replacement or 50. Per cent of a new device. I took the discount and purchased a new versa 4. That was two days ago and today on my run it stopped working. I have a large Red Cross and then a black screen. I spoke to disservice they offered me a replacement but cannot confirm of that will not be a refurbished one. I feel as the watch was brand new and only two days old I should get the same back. They refuse ! I can have a refund of what I paid which I’m effect means I get 100 pounds back (cost was 200 but got 50 per cent discount) and no watch and no further offer of discount so I can’t buy a new one. This seems unfair to me. If I bought a brand new car and it was faulty you wouldn’t get a second hand car replacement!  It’s down right disgraceful because I did t take the versa 3 replacement because I didn’t was a refurb one. My versa 4 is brand new and I should have a brand new replacement No budging at all . I am disgusted and so upset . By law you are entitled to a replacement and there is a website called Resolver UK check them out you can make formal complaints which I will be doing!

Hi @Janeyjo  - have you tried holding the button for 10 seconds?

What was wrong with Versa 3? Often they may offer replacements at discount possibly to improve sales when it may be fixable.

I had the versa3 for a few years and it just stopped working totally. So support offered me a replacement OR 50% discount off a new product. Their replacements are often refubishments so I opted for a new versa4. 

 

It is more than useless. Cant get it to stay on bluetooth - it just has the large red cross - tried absolutely everything. I am tech savvy I work in IT. Reading the forums so many ither people have the same issue and yet nothing is done about it. As my verda 4 was only two days old I wanted a brand new product replacement in the box  which they refused. They offered me my 100 pounds back but then I have no watch at all. They would not even offer me another versa 3 and my money back on the verda 4.

 

Their customer service is awful, they read from a script like robots - how they get away with it I will never know. i am going to apple
