My Versa 4 used to go into sleep mode after a short period of dormancy. Now it’s lit up all the time, severely draining the battery. How do I restart the automatic sleep mode?

It sounds like your Versa 4 has the always-on feature enabled which is draining the battery. To exit the always-on display and interact with your watch, turn your wrist toward you, press the button, or double-tap the display. For more information, see How do I see the time on my Fitbit device?
