Just got this watch brand new. Had my inspire 2 connected to my phone but then switched over to versa 4. My step count has been going down all day long. I watched it go from 8400, to 8000. Then 6800, now 6600. I disconnected it from my phone then reconnected it and it was accurate, at 9400. Then I watched it go down to 6900, then 6600. Steps are why I have a Fitbit so this is really annoying. What should I do to fix it? Thank you

Hi there, @Hs2025. Welcome to the Fitbit Community Forums. Thanks for bringing this to my attention and for the troubleshooting steps you've tried. I'm sorry to hear that your new Versa 4 is not tracking your steps accurately. I understand your concern, I will do my best to help you with this!
While reading your post, I was wondering if you're still using your Inspire 2? Is it still linked to your Fitbit account? If so, having both Fitbit devices linked to the same account might be causing the step discrepancy. For more information, see Using multiple Fitbit devices on one account

I'm not sure how to check if it's still connected? I did read the article you provided. When I got this versa, I just followed the watches instructions on connecting it to my phone.
I have stopped wearing the inspire and now that it's a new day, the versa seems to be tracking my steps accurately, however my heart rate is not showing up. I saw it for a split second and then it went away. I restarted the watch and refreshed my Fitbit app and made sure all permissions were allowed and restarted the watch again. Is it because it's still brand new that the heart rate isn't working? It didn't track my heart rate at all during the night and still isn't.
