Versa 4 stopped receiving notifications

Hi, I have a Versa 4 and an iPhone 12.

Lately my FitBit has been bothering me at night so I take it off when sleeping.  When I take it off to sleep, the next day I do not receive any notifications to my watch.  I've tried going into the app and hitting the phone/watch icon in the top right and synching as well as pulling down on the main screen to refresh but nothing.

Any suggestions?

Hi there, @ARobertshaw. Welcome to the Fitbit Community Forums. Thanks for bringing this to my attention and for the troubleshooting steps you've tried. I'm sorry to hear that your Versa 4 stopped receiving notifications. I understand your concern, I will do my best to help you with this!

As a first approach, I'd recommend checking whether your Versa 4 is in sleep mode. When sleep mode is on:

  • Notifications, goal celebrations, and reminders are muted.
  • The screen's brightness is set to dim.
  • The screen stays dark when you turn your wrist. To wake your tracker, firmly tap the screen twice.
  • The sleep mode icon illuminates in quick settings.

I have found that when I stop receiving notifications, rebooting my phone solves the problem.  Hope this helps you.
