Versa 4 stopped working

After only 10 days, my screen quick working and won't respond to touch. When I press the button all it does is vibrate. No change when I try to charge it; the screen stays black but it vibrates when the charger is connected.

Fitbit was on 21% when it quit working. I have no idea if it's actually charging because it will not sync with the app. I let it "charge" for a couple hours so I could try resetting it, but doesn't do anything.  Absolute trash!

That is what they are sending me, a refurbished one. I contacted them about it and I was told it was not a used one, just that they updated (refurbished) the firmware on it.

I haven't received the replacement yet. As for the other one, everything. The only thing it will do is give me a single vibration. Black screen, won't sync, won't do anything when I try to charge it (just vibrates once, screen stays black). There is no green light on the back of it either.  $150 piece of junk.

@LisaR67 - thanks for the clarification, it or the charge cable sounds faulty, hopefully the replacement will work.

I posted this in another forum about Versa 4 not charging. I just finally got mine to work after a month of not being able to use it by trying a factory reset. Like everyone else, I tried all the tips and nothing worked. I even got a red x on the display from pushing the restart so many times.  I've been back and forth with support and I really didn't want a replacement so I decided to just try one more time and this time I did the factory reset correctly and it worked! I'm so happy I could cry, lol! Please try this. I found the factory reset instructions on another discussion about Versa 3 so it works for all devices!
Here's what I did...

- With device was removed from the app 

-put it on the charge (still no vibration on connection)

-clicked the side button to restart, once logo came on I released quickly and clicked it again holding it until there was a long vibration

-display started showing the restart initializing and then I get the app to find device, it finds it and my Versa 4 showed the 4 digit code!!

I have already tried this, many times. Problem is, the screen remains black. Will not restart, even after trying to charge.
