Versa 4 stopped working

After only 10 days, my screen quick working and won't respond to touch. When I press the button all it does is vibrate. No change when I try to charge it; the screen stays black but it vibrates when the charger is connected.

Fitbit was on 21% when it quit working. I have no idea if it's actually charging because it will not sync with the app. I let it "charge" for a couple hours so I could try resetting it, but doesn't do anything.  Absolute trash!

The screen went black before I even tried charging it. And, yes, I cleaned the contacts and nothing changed. Usually when I plug it in to charge it vibrates and then shows the charging status. The screen remains blank. And it won't sync to my app anymore. The battery was not dead when it quit working.

@LisaR67 - unless the watch has a fault the battery probably still needs charging now.

I charged it for a couple hours. It still won't turn on or reset. Or sync.

@LisaR67 - it won't charge if the cable is faulty. Did you follow all the steps in the link to check.

I am having the issue with my 1 week old fitbit versa  LisaR67. Have you gotten any assistance from Fitbit?

I have not, but I haven't had the chance to contact Fitbit Support yet.
That is my next step.

I just contacted them, via Live Chat. They were very helpful and I have a
replacement Fitbit being processed.

ABSOLUTLEY NOT! I've rebooted, shut down, re-installed and thrown it across
the room....VERY FRUSTRATED WITH FITBIT....(Of which i've owned and worn
(AND UPGRADED!) since 2010. Told me to install "health sync"....did and
now? have NO INTERNET avail on watch. MY ADVICE? don't get another Fitbit!
And if they are "migrating" all their info and apps onto their own "Google
watch" , that is BS! Maybe let ALL fitbit owners know that Google will NOT
migrate and soon might not be available! SORRY FOR RANT...HAVE SPENT LAST 2
DAYS TRYING TO JUST GET THE TIME!! Thanks, Cressa

Just received my versa 4 and it’s not working correctly. Each time I check the time the Fitbit logo appears for about 20sec then the watch face works. Had a :cross_mark: on the screen. Tried to reset it but hasn’t helped. I’ve had a Fitbit for 10+ years. Jane been happy up until now. I’ve contacted Fitbit help. Will let you know how I go. NOT HAPPY

I am not happy, any more!! They made the replacement process really easy... however they never said they would be replacing it with a REFURBISHED Fitbit. I paid for a new Fitbit, I expect a NEW replacement!!

Ok. Talked to Support again, about the 'Refurbished' replacement. I was told the only 'refurbishment' was that they updated its firmware before being sent. Hopefully this is a good thing and the same problem doesn't persist. We'll see.

Hi @Stussa57 - it seems like a fault with the clock face, in the Fitbit App Gallery tile try changing to another clock face and sync.

Tried that but doesn't work because it won't sync.

@LisaR67 - unfortunately the replacement can be a refurbished unit which is mean if you just bought a new faulty one. See how it goes, it comes with its own short warranty and if it fails within that time can be replaced again.
