Versa 4 stuck on a red X

Versa 4 showing a black screen, charging did not alter it. Held wake button for 13 seconds, Fitbit logo flashed, a red X appeared, went dark again. Pressed wake button again and everything resumed as normal.

Thanks for reporting back that your issue with your Versa 4 is resolved, @Bikes2eat.

To avoid such problems in the future I'd like to point out that this problem may occur if you are trying to change the clock face on your device while not keeping your Fitbit device and your phone with your Fitbit app within Bluetooth reach until this process is completed.
