I use clock face TREKV4FB on my Versa 4, but after a minute or two it changes to a clunky generic face (see  attached photos). Fitbit face 1.pngFitbit face 2.pngHow do I get rid of the generic clock face and at least get my watch to switch to the default 'resting face'?

Hello @Luggage512 and welcome to the Community.  Please check your Quick Settings to make sure your Always-On display isn't on by accident.  Swipe down on your screen and make sure the bottom left icon isn't on.  Tap it to turn it off.  If your clock face doesn't have its own Always-On version, you get a clunky generic clock face.

The touch screen is very sensitive and it is very easy to accidentally make changes.
