Despite shutting down my new fitbit versa 4 takes about 8-10 hours to charge and constantly flips between logo and percentage charged screen and buzzes/vibrates. It's driving me mad 😠

@TriciaC1966 Welcome to the Fitbit community.
Sad to hear that your Versa 4 isn't working as expected. There seems to be a problem with the power source, the charging cable, the charging pins or the charging connectors on your Versa. Please check whether or not the charging connectors on your device and the pins on the charging cable are clean. Also check the charging pins on the charging cable. They should be sticking out at the same length. You could also try a different power source for charging to see if this helps.

Thanks. I've tried that. Is it supposed to flip between screens while charging or stay on charging screen?

@TriciaC1966 When you connect your Versa 4 with the charging cable, you should see the charging state for a moment. Then your Versa 4 should switch to whatever clock face you had chosen for a moment before either displaying your AOD or go dark.

Hi @TriciaC1966 - your watch may be fine, if you have already restarted it and the problem remains.
What @Talahthas says is correct, in all likelihood it is a cleaning or charge cable fault, which is quite common. See more things to do in How to check charge cable - Sense/Versa 3 won't charge, won't start or blank screen
If you use a PC port to charge the watch and the changing display is accompanied by connect/disconnect sounds from the computer it could indicate a connection issue, generally caused by the issue already proposed.
The charge cable pin height difference can by quite subtle so check again carefully.

Thanks both. I've realised it was the Samsung plug I was using. When I switched to a different one it charged fine.
