Just got versa4.   Already twice had trouble getting it to return to Home Screen. Press side button and scrolling and still won’t allow.  What do I do

Hi @Tlcoon Welcome to  the Fitbit Community! It's great to have you here!

Let me help you with your inquiry about how to navigate on your Versa 4.

You should be able to return to the home screen by pressing the button. This being said, what happens when you press the button? Is the button unresponsive? Have you tried to press it twice?

I have tried pressing it twice.  Will allow me to scroll through things etc but pressing the button only brings it back to heart rate once and sleep mode the either time whichever one it happens to be stuck on. Have to literally shut it down to get back to Home Screen.  Only had it three days and happens twice already

Hi @Tlcoon,. Thank you for your response and for the troubleshooting you have already tried.

What are the steps you do to shut down your device?

On the other hand, my suggestions is to please try to restart your device if you haven't done so :

Press and hold the button for 10 seconds until the Fitbit logo appears on the screen, and then release the button.

I hope this information will be helpful to resolve your issue. Have great day

have shut it down.   Tried all those things.    Not my first Fitbit. Just did it again.  It’s like it gets stuck in within one of the scrolling options.  When restarting a red x comes up and have to hold the button again to restart a second time. Should I  send it back as this is a pain in the ___.

Hi @Tlcoon, thank you for your reply and for having tried my suggestions one more time.

If you saw a red cross during the restart, i recommend that you set up your device again just like you did it the first time. I appreciate your time during this process.

To do so:

  1. From the Today tab in the Fitbit app on your phone, tap the devices icon.
  2. Tap Add more devices.
  3. Choose the Versa 4 from the list and tap replace.

I hope these instructions will be helpful. Have a great day!
