its all gone downhill. Fitbit has endless problems but this has gone on forever. Opened the app to find I’d been signed out after connecting my google account to fitbit. Don’t get any notifications on my watch even though they’re turned on, it hasn’t recorded any data for weeks and tells me to ‘wear your fitbit to bed’ when I want to check my sleep data despite wearing my watch 24/7. Watch also randomly crashes and screen has glitched a few times after charging. I’ve had a few fitbits now having been replaced after less than a year - I’m sure these watches are made so cheaply. I’m just hoping that this partnership with google will at least improve the software somehow.
in addition, I’ve tried to submit this three times and it keeps saying to correct the highlighted errors - there are none.

I'm having similar issues. I thinking about returning mine. I'm fed up having to constantly sync it even though I've all my settings set up correctly. Never see any notifications on my phone either, even though the app says its set for on wrist phone calls and messages??? A bit disappointed with it TBH.
