Versa 4 won't turn on or charge

My Fitbit Versa 2 (1.5 yrs of use) was charged to 99% this morning around 8 a.m.. Sometime between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. the batter charge was depleted and the watch turned off. I initially thought that because I was in the hospital, maybe it was working too hard. However, I've been in hospital all day before and it never depletes more than 25% while there. My battery has lasted up to 6 days when charged. I came home this evening and charged it only for the screen not to be working and the battery depleting quickly as per the app because the screen doesn't show the percentage. I tried restarting it, changed the clock face, and can't get it to work.

Hi there, @ashoklela. Welcome to the Fitbit Community Forums. Thanks for bringing this to my attention and for the troubleshooting steps you've tried. I'm sorry to hear that your Versa 4 is still not responding. I understand your concern, I will do my best to help you with this!

As a first approach, please note that sometimes a Fitbit doesn’t seem to be charging when actually the issue is that it has become unresponsive (this can happen if the battery has been allowed to discharge completely). I'd recommend putting it on to charge on a charging wire and outlet known to be working.  Leave it on the charger for a good two hours, even if it doesn’t seem to be charging.

When it has had two hours, try restarting your Versa 4. I would recommend trying this maybe twice in a row if a first try doesn’t work.

If the above doesn't work, please see Why isn't my Fitbit device's battery charging?

If the battery keeps draining after the troubleshooting steps provided, please see Can I extend my Fitbit device's battery life?

Welcome to the Fitbit community, @ashoklela!

Sad to hear that you're having an issue with your Fitbit device.
It seems that your device is completely discharged. As a first attempt to hopefully get things fixed, please have a closer look here to check any reason why it currently won't charge:

Why isn't my Fitbit device's battery charging?

I'll keep my fingers crossed.
