A day ago my Versa 4 shut down and won’t come back on. I had just charged it that morning and it was at 85% battery theby the evening when it shut off. When it try to turn it on, the screen won’t turn on at all.
I tried charging it two different places overnight and during the day today. I unpaired it from my phone and forgot the service in the app and did a factory reset. At that point, the screen did respond but only to flash the Fitbit logo and finish with a red X. Now, every once in a while I get the Fitbit logo but the screen looks like it is struggling and then goes blank again. The pictures I am inlaying look like it has a glare, but that light bar flashes across the screen like it is flickering and struggling to show a constant screen.
Nothing is working and I’m feeling a bit frustrated that this seems to be correlating to similar issues for Versa 4 owners after the firmware update.

Please try to follow the steps below:
If you can't get started with your Versa 4, usually a missing requirement is the cause. Carefully review the requirements provided in the help article Why can't I set up my Fitbit device?
If you do not see any lights on the back of your watch, please check it up: Why isn't my Fitbit device's battery charging?

I tried this and it did not work. My issue is the same as OP in that no matter what I try the screen goes black after the red X. Any fixes for this?

These are all things I had tried already. The problem does not seem to lie with the phone and watch not pairing. The problem is that the watch itself will not turn on at all. It’s always the loading screen like it is powering in and then the screen messes up and it turns back off. I can’t even get to the place where it is on long enough to pair with the phone again.
