I charged my Fitbit the other day but when I removed from the charger all I get is a black screen, when I press the side button I get nothing.  My Versa 4 is not even a year old!  WTF!!

Welcome back to the Fitbit community, @Audreyviana!

Sad to hear that you're having an issue with your Versa 4.
Please make sure your device is fully charged before you continue troubleshooting. In doubt, please have a closer look here:

Why isn't my Fitbit device's battery charging?

Next I'd suggest trying to restart Versa 4 to see if that will get things fixed. To do so, please hold it's button for around 10 seconds until you'll hopefully see the Fitbit logo on you device's display.

If that won't work for you, I'd recommend changing your Versa 4's clock face and check if that will have a positive impact. Here's how to do that:

How do I change the clock face on my Fitbit device?

If your device is fine after that, you can switch back to the clock face you had selected before.

Finally, if you're completely out of luck, I'd suggest to do a factory reset on your device and set it up from scratch.
To factory reset your Versa 4, first keep it's button pressed for around 10 seconds until you'll see the Fitbit logo flashing on it's display. Then release the button and immediately keep pressing it again until there's a circle around the Fitbit logo. Now release the button and wait until your device has restarted.
Finally, please follow the instructions provided here to set up your device:

How do I get started with Fitbit Versa 4?

I'll keep my fingers crossed.

Hi there, @Audreyviana. Welcome to the Fitbit Community Forums. Thanks for bringing this to my attention. I'm sorry to hear that the screen of your Versa 4 is blank. I understand your concern, we're here to help you!

I agree with @Talahthas, however, I'd like to add one step more. P
lease try the steps below:

  1. From the Today tab in the Fitbit app, tap the devices icon at the top-left corner.
  2. Tap your Fitbit device image.
  3. Near the bottom of the page, tap Sync Now.

If the above doesn't work, please restart your Fitbit device as suggested here How do I restart my Fitbit device? Note: Restarting the device doesn’t delete any data. If the restart doesn't work try to change your clock face. If this fixes the issue, you can change your clock face back to the original clock face.

Regarding the factory reset, take into consideration that a factory reset deletes any stored data, which includes all data that hasn't synced to your Fitbit account and your applications, alarms, etc.

The watch is 100% charged and I have tried to do both you your suggestions and there is absolutely no response.  I’m not sure what else there is to do.  What if the issue is the side button.
