Verse 4 will only log steps and not other exercise

Hi,

My Versa 4 will only log walking and not other exercise. 
It is on auto detect and I’m doing the exercise for more than the minimum time set to log. So if I go on the exercise bike for example for 30 minutes this is only showing in my active zone minutes it just isn’t feeding through to the rest of the app or being added to anything. I’ve tried closing everything down and resetting the app.
