Wrist Band Positioning

I read about moving the band up the arm a couple finger widths when working out.  Is that because you get more accurate readings on the device?

Jogging today, the band was at the wrist bone and the heart rate read over 160 which was inaccurate based I was far from out of breath.  I moved the band up the arm and checked a minute or so later, it then read about 130

So positioning is definitely important?

@Altoid4ever - as you are discovering during exercise with a Versa 4 HR doesn't show an accurate result, while positioning or tightness may have a slight bearing, don't expect a meaningful result during exercise or repetitive movement.

Of course as HR is used for other calculations they may not be representative either.
