After 2 years, my old Versa 4 stopped working and I bought a new one. The problem I’m having is getting the watch to synch with my iPhone 16. My phone shows it is synched and my online account also shows the iPhone synched with the watch. But, the watch does nothing. I hold the side button down until I get the “buzz”. I release the button, the logo appears for a few seconds then the screen flashes a few times, the red “X” appears for a few seconds, then the screen goes black. I’ve done this a dozen times. I’ve also shut my phone down for a few minutes, turned bluetooth off and on – pretty much all the suggestions I’ve seen on this forum. Very frustrating. Any help would be appreciated.

In addition, my iPhone 16 Pro says it is synched with the Versa 4 and my online account also shows iPhone synced with the watch. I've got to the step on the Fitbit app on my phone where it says "Enter 4-digit code", however, the Versa 4 display remains black. I've tried all the resetting steps, factory reset, deleted and reloaded the Fitbit app on my phone, deleted my old Versa 4 from my account, etc. Nothing should be this difficult and frustrating to use. Sending it back.

UPDATE: I sent my Versa 4 back and Amazon refunded the credit card purchase. I bought another Versa 4, this time at Best Buy. The new Versa 4 started up correctly, screen displayed the 4-digit code to enter in the Fitbit app on my iPhone. I punched in the code it immediately paired with my iPhone.
Note: The Versa 4 display, however, remained on "connected with checkmark icon" for a while until I performed an update through the app my phone. After the update completed itself, Versa 4 works perfectly.
My advise: If you've tried everything with your Versa 4 (see my first post above) and can't get past the Fitbit logo screen, box it up and return it. Fitness watches are mini-processors and sometimes they lose their way and no amount of restarting will solve it. I really like the Versa 4. It's my second one -- first one lasted about 2 years. Super comfortable and lightweight, easy to read screen and reasonably accurate. Hope this helps someone.
