skin pressure problems

I developed a pressure sore on my wrist area from wearing the Fitbit Versa 4. I guess it's a reaction to the plastic rubbing against my skin. I can put a bandage over it because it's below the area where my pulse is, but am just wondering if anyone else has experienced this and has some suggestions as to how to avoid this without interfering with the watch.

Hi @Carol571 - there can be a couple of reasons.

Firstly make sure the watch and strap are clean and wear on the other arm to allow recovery.

It can be an allergic reaction or simply from repetitive movements when there is moisture, dust or both, or even pinched skin.

If you get the same problem with a clean watch and strap on the other arm then it is most likely allergic and changing strap type may be an option.

For cleaning, it is important to follow the Fitbit guidelines.
