Device don't receive notifications when Pokemon Go app is running

I just got a Versa 2.  i finally got it all set up and now I find out when I launch Pokemon Go it basically disconnects everything and no notifications push through to the device.  Music controls also stop working ( other than volume control).  Is anyone else experiencing similar issues?

Thanks for bringing this to my attention, seems odd that you experience connection difficulties with your Versa 2 device when you launch the Pokemon Go app. To better assist you with this, can you please let me know which mobile device are you using to check the Fitbit app? When was the first time you experienced this and how many times since then? This could be related to the settings the Pokemon Go app needs when you launch it. Please try the following steps and let me know if you continue experiencing the same:

 

  1. Force quit the Fitbit app.
  2. Uninstall the app from your mobile device.
  3. Make sure that the OS version of your phone is up to date.
  4. Reboot your mobile device.
  5. Reinstall the Fitbit app.
  6. Login using your account credentials.
  7. Let me know if the issue persists.
