Hey there.
My Fitbit Versa had problems syncing the clock.. so I decided to reset it to the factory settings. After that on my screen it appears a RED X and it says "data not cleared. Sync and try again". What should I do?
Thanks.

Try factory resetting again (see below for button method)
FACTORY RESET USING BUTTONS
On the watch, hold all three buttons for about twelve seconds. This triggers the 2-button hardware reboot after about eight seconds.
- When the Fitbit logo appears, then disappears, release the bottom right button, then continue holding the left and top right buttons until you feel a strong vibration. This indicates the factory reset was initiated.
- This process may take several seconds, and eventually, the Fitbit logo appears and the device boots and displays go to Fitbit.com/setup.
- If you fail to release the bottom right button in time, or otherwise don't follow the procedure precisely, the Fitbit logo reappears quickly and boots without factory reset.
If the device turns on, please go back to the Fitbit app and setup your device back to your account with these steps. Make sure your watch is plugged into a wall plug or a computer, next to the router and that there are no other trackers or devices with Bluetooth on nearby when setting up. Please log into your account, go to account on the upper right corner, there look for "setup a device" and tap on it. Follow the instructions on the screen and let the watch charge for 2 hours.

Welcome to the Community @Smarandel and @NellyG thanks for stopping by.
I appreciate all the efforts in trying to fix this issue. The Versa will show a red X on the display when failing to making an update. I recommend taking a look at the following links and follow the instructions provide:
Let me know how it goes.

@AlejandraFitbit@Thanks for your answer
None of the above helped me.
I can't make it work, i'm sure it is fully charged.
I tried even the solution in other threads, those steps. They don't work either.
What else should i do?
It was bought in May so it is still in the guarantee perioud.
I used it with attention, took it off when showering.
It worked perfectly until yesterday when i tried to modify the hour.
I also read on other threads that it may interfere with my wireless headphones so i disconected and unpaired them hoping it will work but still nothing...

Why go threw all the steps? It seems to me that the way you said to do it is the hard way, and now for those who like to do things the easy way go to your watch go to settings go to about and there it is factory reset done.

@tazmazzi Yes you are correct. The button reset is there for times when the watch wont let you navigate to Settings or About (eg no display, screen wont swipe etc) so you can still do a Factory reset even though you cant get to Settings. It is much easier to do via the settings app, if you can get there.

My display on Versa 2 went black. I held the button down and it factory reset. Now I have a red x and the message "data did not clear Sync and try again" Sync has been running for over 3 minutes. What now?

Fitbit needs to do better! I always have issues, now this! The big red X won't go away at all! I hold the 2 buttons down, it vibrates and it goes right back to the X
