Versa won't connect to LG V20

Hello,

I just recieved my Fitbit Versa for Christmas.  I installed the app and successfully linked my versa to the app.  I have Bluetooth enabled and everything was working fine yesterday except I noticed the watch was not syncing to the app.

I tried all of the trouble shooting tips including factory reset and deleting and reinstalling the app on my phone.  I have an LG V20.

I have no idea what the issue is here or why I can't sync (it tries and then I end up with a red exclamation mark), why the wifi won't connect (it just goes to the loading screen and never finds anything to connect to) or why my notifications are not working.  I can't even get the test call to work anymore.

I'm thinking about returning this device and going with a different brand unless someone can let me know how to permanently fix the issues here.  I am very frustrated.

Thanks in advance -A

Hi there @Agerber, welcome to the Community Forums. I am sorry to hear that you are going through this situation. I appreciate your efforts while troubleshooting the connectivity issue between your Versa and your LG V20.

Currently your LG V20 isn't yet a compatible device as our team is working to optimize the Fitbit app and ensure its functionality with this model.

Please note that our main purpose is to avoid negative experiences to our customers, we're always willing to help and provide troubleshooting steps.

There is a possibility that your Versa can sync and while there isn't a guarantee that it'll always work, we can try to troubleshoot this situation together. If you've not done so, please remove your Versa from the Bluetooth settings, turn off other Bluetooth connections that aren't in use and set up your Versa as a new device and set up the notifications again.

Additionally, take a look at the help article: Why won't my Fitbit watch connect to Wi-Fi?

I'll be around if there's anything else I may do to help you.

I just received my Versa 2 for Christmas and was able to set up no problem.  My issue is it won't connect to my LGV20 via Bluetooth.  I like to "hear " my notifications, distance biked or ran etc. through my wireless headset when I exercise.  The GPS, and everything else works fine, steps, heart rate etc and when it syncs, it shows my GPS route on my run or bike.  I just can't get a Bluetooth connection, my phone will recognize it, but when I tap on symbol it will not pair and occasionally comes up and says Versa 2 declines to pair with device.  ???

I have found that my Versa still has some issues with connecting and staying connected.  I have 2 seperate Bluetooth options Versa and Versa (classic).  I have to pair to Versa (classic) and also teather Bluetooth.  It doesn't seem to connect over my WiFi so I just stopped trying.  Its been a bit of a challenge to get this far.  I also have to restart my versa and my phone and reconnect about every other day to ensure its all working properly. Hope this help a little.
