Hello, I am unable to receive text messages. I've checked both my phone & my fitbit & both say my notifications are "On", however, I have not received anything. Any help/suggestioms?

@Aubi777 Phone model and OS? Also, is your Versa syncing without issues? When was the last sync?

For now, please do the following:

  1. Turn OFF the Notifications in your Fitbit mobile app and on your Versa, reboot your phone and Versa, and turn the notifications back ON on both devices.
  2. Make sure All-day sync, Always Connected and Keep Alive Widget are enabled in the Fitbit mobile app. Make sure to sync after enabling them.
  3. Make sure the notifications are ON on your Versa. Press and hold the left button to access quick menu. Turn the notifications to ON.
  4. In the Fitbit mobile app, make sure you enabled the notifications and that Fitbit notification service is enabled in your phone settings. It needs to be ON. Can you please take a screenshot of Versa notifications settings in the Fitbit mobile app and post it here?
  5. If your phone is in DND or silent mode, make sure Always vibrate option is enabled in your Fitbit mobile app. Also, it's always a good idea to toggle on/off notifications in the Fitbit mobile app with sync in-between.
  6. Make sure that any app you would like to receive notifications for on your Versa has the push notifications priority set to at least HIGH (this can be done in the Android settings>Notifications). Please see my post here for more info.
  7. Also, please make sure Fitbit mobile app is not being optimized by Android (Android settings>Battery>Optimization>Fitbit needs to be marked as not optimized).

On your versa, Hold the left button and the bottom right button until you see the Fitbit logo.  Then stop pressing.

I've done all of these steps and my notifications stop syncing after I go to bed. Even before I go to bed and have DND on, I can still see notifications on my Versa if I check. But as soon as I go to bed and wake up my notifications stop syncing altogether. It only comes back if I complete solution #1. Very irritating. The only Solution I cannot understand is #5, I don't see a "Always Vibrate" option available? I have an iOS device.

Thank you!! #3 was the winning solution.  I had tried everything but somehow missed that one.

I read the "notifications" threads on all the boards, and really no answer except not receiving since the October 8th update.

I see the notice on our page saying they understand "some" customers are having problems.

I phoned the "support" on Friday, and unless you call in and get it documented with "support", it's not going to happen.

Here's the phone number:1-877-623-6997 or email them:
