Versa wont pair with Huawei Freebuds

I have a pair on Planetronic wireless earphone and these unfortunately wont pair with my Versa, so I've now purchased a pair of Huawei Freebuds and these will not pair with my Versa either. I've read all the chats on here and I've tried everything but nothing seems to be working.

Can anyone help me and does anyone know if Fitbit is sorting this problem out because I think its quite pathetic that they cant get this right. They need to release new firmware that allows all earphones to connect to them ASAP.

I too have the same problem.. My fitbit ionic will not recognize my huawei freebuds

I'm also facing the same issue the versa finds the hwawei freebuds when searching but just doesn't pair up successfully. Keeps on with the status pairing freebuds lite for almost forever.

Does anyone have any suggestions?  or is this a firmware issue?
