Another issue!!!!  My Versa is connected to my phone (iphone) and is syncing BUT I have not been receiving any sms notifications.  When I review the app to set up notifications it then states "Bluetooth pairing required" your versa and your iphone need to be paired before you cdan use this feature.  I then click on setup and NOTHING HAPPENS..............Talk about a frustrating gadet!!!!!!!!

My bluetooth headphones still won't connect..........seriously considering returning for a refund.

@Maree73 Please try this:

  1. Unpair (remove) Versa from your phone's bluetooth settings
  2. Uninstall the Fitbit mobile app
  3. Reboot your phone and install Fitbit mobile app
  4. Reboot your Versa by pressing and holding the left and bottom right buttons until Fitbit logo flashes
  5. Login to Fitbit mobile app. Do not pair in phone's Bluetooth settings
  6. Grant all permissions incl pairing
  7. Make sure Fitbit Notifications are enabled in your phone Settings. If they are switch them off, sync, switch them back ON, and sync again. Please follow steps 1-3 from my post here to properly set up the notifications on your iPhone.

If you have Wifi set up, go to Fitbit mobile app and remove it, then sync your Versa. I noticed that it causes issues for me. If you have other Bluetooth devices paired with your phone, forget them. One of them might be causing issues. Also, make sure All day sync is enabled.

I have the same issue!!! I never had this with my charge.  I chatted with support and they told me there was nothing they could do after me removing and re-installing and all that connecting with bluetooth, they said I would have to wait for an update in the software.  I told them that was ridiculous that they should send a new versa and was told that the new one might not even work either.

Anyone else told this?

@maripfit Have you tried the above procedure to see if it helps? At this point you need to pair it or rather let Fitbit mobile app do that for you by allowing all permissions it asks of you.

Thank you!  This has worked (and the only thing that worked), so thank you for your response

I will need to resolve the bluetooth headphone issue, which I will attempt this afternoon.

My bluetooth headphones won't connect. I follow the instructions but the headphones are never detected.

@Maree73 Most of the buds will allow only for pairing with one device at a time. I am assuming you have paired them before e.g. with your phone. So, first you need to reset them and put them into pairing mode (according to manufacturer's instructions) and then try to pair with Versa.

Couldn’t get notifications to open - just spun out. Had to remove device from Bluetooth, delete the app and re-install. As soon as I opened the app again it asked for Bluetooth pairing. Pain in the butt to have to re-install though.
