Hey @Molli2106, let me give you a warm welcome to the Community! Smiley LOL This phone model, the Moto Z isn't on the list of compatible devices so I can't guarantee that you'll be able to setup/sync your Fitbit Versa with it. However if your phone meets the requirement of Minimum Supported OS (Android 4.4 KitKat), you can try the tips on the following help articles. This one for setup process and this other one for syncing issues. Please note that if you are able to setup your watch, but still getting syncing issues, is because we are still testing on this phone model. In addition, you can also try to setup/sync with a computer or with another compatible device, if by any chance you have it.

Let me know if you have further questions or comments.

I had a lot of trouble with this too, but now I have it working! I set up the Versa in my Fitbit account using my computer. The watch then updated (for a really long time no time because I didn't set up wifi first) and works fine with my Moto Z now. I hope this helps!

Hey @Mjbray, it is great to see new faces around! Sounds pretty awesome that you were able to setup your Versa with your Moto Z. I'd like to know if you are getting notifications and everything is working smoothly between your phone and this Fitbit watch, and if there is something else I can help you with, I'll be glad to do so.

I'll be around!

I am getting notifications and everything seems to be working. I have not
tried GPS yet, but when I tap "run" it does say it is connected to the
phone.

Hey @Mjbray, thanks for your reply! Robot Happy Oh! Those are good news. That means that, even the Moto Z hasn't been officially released as compatible, almost all of the features are working fine, just keep in mind that I can't guarantee that they won't give you any inconvenience in the future as maybe our team still testing on this phone.

If you have further questions or comments, let me know!

I got it working on my Moto Z. I figured since this is basically a Pebble Time with added features (same buttons, same watch band design, even the screen size is the same and the battery life is comparable) and my Pebble Time never had any issues connecting to my Moto Z, I should be able to get it working. Here are the steps I followed:

1. DO NOT try installing on the Moto Z first, if you have the fitbit app installed, uninstall it.

2. set-up your versa on a tablet, laptop, or other phone

3. Make sure the Versa ia NOT connected with bluetooth to your Moto Z yet

4. install the Fitbit app on your Moto Z and it finds the watch and everything works.

Mine took a while as well, but also I had to make a lot of space in my memory.
