I've had a Fitbit Versa for just over a week now, and I'm incredibly disappointed with the inaccuracy of data it has been providing, mostly with steps and calories being added whilst they shouldn't be.
We are being told we can negate steps by adding a driving activity which is then causing other inaccuracies in calories and adding to weekly exercise.
1. Why are calories being added when adding a driving activity?
2. Why are steps being adding when enabling the cycling activity?
2. Why after being told to "add driving activity during driving" then my app is telling me I can't add an activity that is so far in the future? i.e 4 hours.
3. Why after adding a driving activity on a different day for a previous day has my steps been removed off my time graph but not my overall steps?
4. Why isnt there a shortcut activity option on our wrist wear if you expect us to add this everytime we drive.
5. Why are my driving activities being tracked towards my weekly activity?
Surely all this could be resolved by just adding a pause step counting option on our watches/devices.

@Harlich Welcome to the Fitbit Community! It's great to have you here! I would like to help you with the different questions you have.
1.- Since you are logging an activity it will calculate the calories for the period of time. This is applicable even for a Driving activity so you will see a caloric burn calculation. Still the amount isn't too high in my experience and will have your BMR calories included for the period of time.
2.- Even though a cycling activity recorded the steps were detected by your Versa and this are automatically added to your account and can't be deleted (but the information for caloric burn will be from the cycling activity as it will supersede any other data since it was logged on your account).
3.- Logging a driving activity is done usually when the steps have already been recorded and you know which period you will need to log it for not for future activities.
4.- This is related to your second question. Steps were recorded by your Versa so it will be counted to your overall steps but won't show on the graph as you negated them. This is how the system has been designed.
5.- You can do this manually (logging a driving activity) from the Fitbit app on your phone or via the website. Still you have a great suggestion.
6.- Your weekly activity tile will show logged activities so this is why the Driving activity shows there.
I noticed that you have already created a suggestion about pausing steps count in the Feature Suggestions board. Feel free to share the link here so other members can vote for the idea. It is always a good idea to search for your idea first and vote for an existing one before creating a new idea to avoid duplicates. The intention is to gather most votes in one idea to help the developers know which ones are the most requested by our users. Feel free to look for other ideas or add you own suggestions to improve the platform and thank for doing this up till now. For example there is an idea about driving/pause mode for Ionic that could possibly be applied to the Versa as they have the same OS and you can vote for it here.
Let me know how it goes!

Actually u should add a pause feature like samsung health app provides.
Otherwise this costly versa is of very less practical use.
Kindly add this feature for existing fitbit users rather tjan just launching another fitbit watch version .

Pausing steps is a great idea! My versa is absolutely awful and I regret wasting money on it, but that would make it a tiny bit less awful. At least one issue out of the many it has would be resolved.
