503 Error

Hi all, I have a nightly task that pulls data from fitbit users who have connected to our app.

When the last one ran on November 13th 2.00 AM (GMT) it received a 503: Service Unavailable from the activities endpoint.  

Has this happened to any other users, or is anyone from fitbit around to confirm whether there was a server issue on the fitbit backend.  I just want to check before investigating at my end as it has been working fine till now.

Hi @hcidigital 

I don't see an outage reported by our engineering team for November 13th.   Would you provide me some information and I'll investigate it on our end?

  1. Are the 503 errors still occurring?
  2. If not, what time did the 503 error stop occurring?
  3. Were you able to call the endpoints again to get the activity data?
  4. Which activity endpoint are you calling?
  5. What is your client ID?
