Data for beginner

I am a complete noob when it comes to data in systems like this I have a project for college where I need to acquire information that the watch is collecting and at this point I am completely lost as to how to get the data. Any chance there is a definitive guide as to what I need to do so that I can store this data in my SQL data base on a web server I have built.

Hi @Matt.Swart, welcome! A good place to start would be our Fitbit Web API docs. I'd recommend checking that out if you haven't already.

Thanks for getting back to me @AndrewFitbit I went back to the API and I am spending the time to try get the infomation, I typed out all the authorization code flow tag but not sure what I am suppose to do with it and where to put it. Please understand that I am a networking major and the most in coding I have done is with python so I am very limited but want to learn when it comes to this API.
