Developer Kits?

Hi there!

Is there anyway to get hands on developer kits? For example, I work for an early-stage startup currently in the AngelHack Hackcelerator program that wants to develop an application using the FitBit ChargeHR's heart rate monitor and they are looking for a couple of devices.

Any idea who I could contact to get this organized?

Hi @zafarali,

We don't do that, but you don't need a Fitbit device to use the Fitbit API. You can use the MobileTrack feature on your phone for many things (but not heart rate, obviously).

Is it possible to speak to somone at Fitbit to better explain our product and possibly form a partnership? We have looked at your Corporate Wellness program and we think we can add some value to it!

I think you should consider it - especially for things like the clockface - open up at least aspects so people can play with it - it will have a longer life in the long run if there's more capacity for customization.
