Hi, I was wondering if there will be any developer support for the Alta? I am interested in making custom display or adding like a triple tap to ping my iPhone. Where can I start? I couldn't find any documentation.

The Alta can only run the code in its firmware (and that's not user-editable). The only Fitbit that's otherwise (at the moment) is the Ionic.

Will there be support in the future? Anyway I can alter the firmware and install it myself? I understand this would void my warranty.

No. You need an Ionic.
