Intra-day data zeroed out

ANSWERED

My intraday data for calories and steps got flat-lined for the period of 2017/08/31 17:38 to 09/06 7:32. The steps/min got zeroed out and the calories/min is set to minimum (0.944/min). The daily total on the dashboard looks ok for those days though. Other measures like heart rate and elevation wasn't effected either. Anybody with an idea what's going on?

I was gonna post my data file, but it appears there is no option to attach them here and they are long to post in line. But I'll be happy to send email if anybody wants to look. Here is the beginning of the calorie data.

Thanks for reaching out! After looking at your sync logs, your last sync(s) before 2017/08/31 happened on 2017/08/27.
We persisted minute level data points between 2017-08-24 23:10:00 (UTC) to 2017-08-27 13:40:00 (UTC) at this time.
Your next recorded sync(s) happened on 2017/09/01
We persisted minute level data between 2017-08-27 13:41:00 (UTC) and 2017-09-01 00:38:00 (UTC)
Subsequent sync(s) happened on 2017/09/12
We persisted minute level data between 2017-09-06 13:35:00 (UTC) and 2017-09-12 20:22:00 (UTC)
during these syncs.

Since no sync happened between 2017/09/01 to 2017/09/12, your tracker was not able to record
detailed minute-by-minute data between the period you mentioned.

We recommend that you sync your tracker or watch daily. Most Fitbit devices record
detailed minute-by-minute data for seven days. (Fitbit Alta records minute-by-minute data for five days).
Fitbit devices can store daily totals for up to 30 days.

It happened again between:

from 2017/9/12 13:22 to 2017/9/15 16:26

from 2017/9/22 00:00 to 2017/9/23 6:45

This problem is making  my intra-day data pretty much useless..

Ah, thanks. I resorted to manual sync while traveling to save the battery
and was fooled by the daily data that's been working.

Maybe you could warn the user when the buffer is about to run out? I get
email notices when the battery is low, but not when the buffer is low.
Running out of buffer can be also critical to some users, if not more.

Again, thanks for the help.
