My intraday data for calories and steps got flat-lined for the period of 2017/08/31 17:38 to 09/06 7:32. The steps/min got zeroed out and the calories/min is set to minimum (0.944/min). The daily total on the dashboard looks ok for those days though. Other measures like heart rate and elevation wasn't effected either. Anybody with an idea what's going on?
I was gonna post my data file, but it appears there is no option to attach them here and they are long to post in line. But I'll be happy to send email if anybody wants to look. Here is the beginning of the calorie data.

It happened again between:
from 2017/9/12 13:22 to 2017/9/15 16:26
from 2017/9/22 00:00 to 2017/9/23 6:45
This problem is making my intra-day data pretty much useless..

and was fooled by the daily data that's been working.
Maybe you could warn the user when the buffer is about to run out? I get
email notices when the battery is low, but not when the buffer is low.
Running out of buffer can be also critical to some users, if not more.
Again, thanks for the help.
