Email Id from FITBIT as part of the return url

Hi Team,

We are trying to integrate Salesforce with data from fitbit, To be able to link a record in Salesforce with the data from fitbit we need the LOGIN ID of fitbit along with the secret key.Looks like the LOGIN ID (which is an email id) is not being shared by FITBIT. Is this a correct understanding ? Is it possible to get the email id?

Welcome to the forums!

 

The access token you receive from users after providing your application consent to access their data will only provide you with your client ID that the token was issued for, the user id, the duration of the token, and the scopes that the user consented to allow your application to read/write. It is not possible to obtain the user's email address through the token.
