Fitbit OS Developer Beta Firmware (v27.30.2.8)

I got my Ionic yesterday and wanted to try out the Fitbit studio and some watch faces. I believe I need Fitbit OS beta firmware (v27.30.2.8) and have registered and accepted the Platform terms of service. However the ios App firmware for the the ionic indicates v25.12.14 as the latest and does not give me option to download the beta firmware needed for Fitbit studio. Any help with what could be happening?

When I got mine it said I had an update in the Android App.

 

Once I'd connected the phone & Ionic it had the Ionic image at the top and next to it a download arrow. It downloaded the beta firmware once I clicked that (my firmware version is 27.30.2.8).
