Fitbit subscription activity frequency

We have web-hooks configured according this doc and mostly it works fine. But in some cases our web-hooks are triggered only twice per day (with interval for 12 hours, for few users).

So, according documentation 'Subscription notifications are sent in near real-time to an endpoint of your choosing'. Does that mean that users just sync his Fitbit band with smart phone only twice per day, or there is some

Hi @Ted_Lv,

Yes this sounds normal, really. Subscriptions notifications are dependent on user's sync activity. If a user only syncs their device once a day, you'll be notified for that event that new data has been added/changed on the user's account.

By default, a Fitbit device will sync to the user's Fitbit app every15 minutes as long as it is within range of the mobile device. This means that depending on what you are collections you are subscribed to, you could be receiving webhook notifications every 15 minutes.

I hope this helps. Let me know if you have additional questions.
